We stand in the wind and take off slowly: two or three steps, the glider fills with air and we take off! Our passenger flights take place around Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug and Lake Lauerz, with a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains in the heart of Switzerland. Landing is as easy as taking off, we hover against the wind, take another two or three steps and we’re back on the ground. Passenger flights whisk you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life into a beautiful landscape. Now you know why birds sing: they love flying too. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWeather<\/p>\n To achieve a longer flight time, we need thermals, just like gliders. Thermals are more frequent and stronger in spring than in summer, fall and winter. When the sky is blue, there is usually not much going on or there is a foehn, which means we can’t fly! So don’t pay attention to the weather – book in good time! We always decide on the next day’s flights in the evening between 7 and 8 pm. Depending on the summit, the hike takes about 2-3 hours. Afterwards, we rest and eat and then paraglide back down to the valley. Longer hikes are also available on request. Paragliding in Switzerland is considered a non-risk sport. However, we are flying in alpine terrain, so minor accidents such as slipping or stumbling during take-off cannot be ruled out. If your insurance does not cover such an accident, please inform us before the flight. The liability insurance of our tandem pilots covers CHF 5,000,000. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhat happens after the booking?<\/a><\/p>\n Call us the evening before the planned date between 7 and 8 p.m. to get information about the weather and meeting point. We are also happy to accept bookings at short notice, depending on availability. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDo I have to have paragliding skills?<\/a><\/p>\n You do not need any previous experience to fly as a passenger. Before the flight, there is a simple briefing on taking off, flying and landing. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhat do I need to bring to my tandem flight?<\/a><\/p>\n Good mountain\/hiking boots or winter boots depending on the season. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIs there an age limit for a paragliding tandem flight?<\/a><\/p>\n No one is too young or too old! Passengers between the ages of 3 and 92 have flown with us. Children and young people under the age of 18 require a declaration of consent from their parents. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn what weight range can I fly?<\/a><\/p>\n For passengers weighing less than 15 kg or more than 100 kg, it must be clarified on a case-by-case basis whether a tandem flight is possible.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHow much time is needed for the tandem adventure?<\/a><\/p>\n Depending on which flight you book, it will take between one and three hours to get to take-off, prepare and fly.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCan I transfer a paragliding flight booking\/voucher to another person?<\/a><\/p>\n The reserved flight can be transferred to another person on request.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCan I register for tandem flights with a group?<\/a><\/p>\n On request, we can fly with larger groups at the same time, but this depends on the availability of the pilots. Depending on the number of passengers, the group will fly in several rounds. Please book early! <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhat happens in bad weather?<\/a><\/p>\n In the event of precipitation, fog or strong winds, your tandem flight will be postponed. Please contact us if the paragliding flight cannot take place to arrange a new date. If the flight cannot be carried out due to weather conditions and no postponement is possible, we will refund the costs in accordance with our terms and conditions<\/a>. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDo I need special insurance for paragliding tandem flights?<\/a><\/p>\n Paragliding in Switzerland is considered a non-risk sport, which is why compulsory accident insurance covers the costs. If you do not have Swiss accident insurance, we can offer you accident insurance for your paragliding flight for CHF 20. Please inform us when you register if you need accident insurance. The liability insurance for tandem pilots covers CHF 5,000,000. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAre photos or videos of my flight available?<\/a><\/p>\n Of course. Our pilots are equipped with a special camera stick and take about 15 photos and a few videos during the paragliding flight. The pictures can be uploaded directly to your cell phone on request. The photo and video service costs CHF 40. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHow are the tandem pilots trained?<\/a><\/p>\n All our tandem pilots are full-blooded pilots and officially licensed by the Swiss Hang Gliding Association. The pilots‘ many years of experience guarantee you maximum safety during the entire flight. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhat is not included in the price?<\/a><\/p>\n Costs for travel to and from the flight area, shuttle costs, mountain railroads and the photo\/video service, booking fees are not included.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHow long does the tandem flight last?<\/a><\/p>\n The exact flight time depends on your booking and the weather. We try to fly as long as possible. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tI don’t have a car. Do you offer transportation? <\/a><\/p>\n Most of our flying areas are easy to reach by public transport. We offer a pick-up service from the nearest train station or bus stop. <\/p>\n
