Bosnia and Herzegovina

Something new, nothing ordinary and a little out of the ordinary….

Our journey begins and ends in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Sarajevo became famous for the 1984 Winter Olympics in what was then Yugoslavia and again for the long siege during 1425 days of the Yugoslav war. From the capital, we travel through the still relatively unknown Herzegovina. A different world and a different culture for us, away from the familiar stress of everyday life in Europe. Time ticks much slower here and nature still seems to be intact. Abandoned villages, war zones that are still clearly recognizable after 20 years… and nonetheless very simple and friendly people.

The south-eastern European state offers very attractive and still unknown flying areas. Adventurous pilots who want to experience something new and get to know the Dinaric Mountains will feel right at home here. Inspired by the Orient, the multi-ethnic state is not only very interesting for us paragliders.

Minimum requirement: 

• Certified pilot – Ippi 4
• Independent takeoffs and landings
• You understand English or German
• Airworthy, inspected paragliding equipment with a variometer
