What to expect
Are you ready to take the next step after your first experience of thermal flying on the local mountain? The cross-country seminar and cross-country days are perfect for pilots like you who want to extend their skills to longer flights. It’s not just about staying in the air, but also about mastering the art of successful cross-country flying and broadening your flying horizons.
Theory course “Introduction to cross-country flying”
We recommend that you complete the introduction to cross-country flying theory before taking part in the flying days.

Cross-country flight days
Decision about the flight day: We will take you to a weather and area briefing via Zoom on Friday evening at 8 pm. After we have already worked out the basics and possible routes in our online briefing and all questions have been answered, the final briefing will take place directly in the flying area on the day of the flight. We determine the final route and set off. A detailed debriefing takes place online on the following Tuesday evening.
And the best thing about this course? The community. Meet like-minded people, share experiences and learn from each other. There’s nothing better than connecting with other pilots, flying together and growing together.
Prerequisites

Valid paragliding license (IPPI 4) and liability insurance -
Paraglider material suitable for flying -
Experience in thermal flying (independent finding, centering and turning up) -
Vario with GPS logger, (we will be happy to advise you on your choice) -
Recommended PMR radio -
The flight must be uploaded to XContest in the evening or sent by e-mail

This cross-country seminar is held with a minimum of 8 participants.
A decision will be made at midday on Friday and participants will be informed accordingly. Cancellation conditions apply in accordance with our GTC.
